Handgiftsar provides custom web development services. Due to the nature of our services, which involve custom work, intellectual property, and time-based deliverables, our refund policy is designed to be fair to both parties while protecting the work we perform.
Service Nature
Our web development services are custom, non-tangible digital products. Once work has commenced, we have invested time, resources, and expertise into your project. Therefore, our refund policy reflects the value of work already completed.
Refund Eligibility
Before Work Commences
If you cancel your project before any work has begun, you are eligible for a full refund of any deposit or payment made, minus any non-refundable fees that may have been incurred (such as third-party service fees).
After Work Commences
Once work has commenced on your project, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis:
- Partial Refunds: If you cancel after work has begun but before completion, you may be eligible for a partial refund based on the percentage of work completed. The refund amount will be calculated as the total payment minus the value of work already completed.
- No Refund After Completion: Once a project is completed and delivered, no refunds will be issued unless there is a material breach of our agreement on our part.
- Unsatisfactory Work: If you are not satisfied with the completed work, we will work with you to make reasonable revisions as outlined in your project agreement. If we are unable to resolve the issue after good faith efforts, we will discuss appropriate resolution options.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your project at any time by providing written notice to us. The following terms apply:
- Written Notice Required: All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to help@handgiftsar.world
- Cancellation Fees: If you cancel after work has commenced, you will be responsible for payment of all work completed up to the cancellation date, plus any non-refundable expenses incurred on your behalf
- Project Assets: Upon cancellation, any completed work, code, designs, or other deliverables remain the property of Handgiftsar until full payment is received
Payment Structure
Our standard payment structure is as follows:
- Deposit: A 50% deposit is required to commence work. This deposit is non-refundable once work has begun.
- Final Payment: The remaining 50% is due upon project completion and before final delivery or launch.
- Milestone Payments: For larger projects, payments may be structured around project milestones as agreed upon in your project contract.
Revision Policy
Each project includes a specified number of revision rounds as outlined in your project agreement. If you require additional revisions beyond what is included, additional fees may apply. Our goal is to ensure your satisfaction within the agreed scope of work.
Dispute Resolution
If you have concerns about the quality of work or service provided, we encourage you to contact us immediately so we can address the issue. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and professionally. Most issues can be resolved through communication and reasonable revisions.
Non-Refundable Items
The following items are non-refundable:
- Work already completed and delivered
- Third-party service fees (hosting, domain registration, licenses, etc.) that have been paid on your behalf
- Custom development work that has been completed
- Any expenses incurred specifically for your project
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or dispute a payment through your payment provider without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to suspend all services and withhold project deliverables until the dispute is resolved. We strongly encourage direct communication to resolve any concerns.
Project Delays
If a project is delayed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to client delays in providing content, feedback, or approvals), the project timeline may be extended accordingly. Delays caused by client inaction do not constitute grounds for refund.

We stand behind our work and are committed to your satisfaction. If you have concerns about your project, please contact us immediately. We will work diligently to address your concerns and make necessary adjustments within the scope of your project agreement.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Return and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. The policy that applies to your project is the one in effect at the time you entered into your project agreement with us.
